It's a Family Affair

The Story
It looks as if the bison bull, cow and calf are indeed a family unit.  The bull most likely claimed her when she came into season again.  The calf by her side is a newborn.  Even though I would like to think that they were a family unit, that is probably stretching it a bit.  Bulls fight over the females, and the most aggressive of the males get to mate with the females.
